Evaluation Process

Our evaluation process is typically divided into two phases:

Phase One – Initial Analysis

During this phase we analyze a range of factors including:

  • Management team
  • Customer base
  • Market dynamics
  • Market niche position
  • Proprietary competitive advantage
  • Capital expenditure patterns/requirements
  • Historical performance
  • Likely transaction costs

Phase Two – Transaction Completion

This final phase is focused on completion of due diligence and negotiation of final terms. By this point we have agreed upon:

  • The management team which will be in place prior to financing
  • A business operating plan which demonstrates a strategy for bottom line growth
  • Our lending partners for the transaction
  • An assessment of various primary and supporting exit possibilities and the likely timing

Post Transaction

Information exchange and joint goal setting remains a continuous focus with our portfolio companies.
