David J. Pearson

Prior to rejoining the Wheeler family in 2003 as Engineering Director of Enterprise Electronics, Dave ran his own successful Electronic Design Consulting firm, serving automotive customers such as TRW and Visteon, designing automotive and consumer electronics products. Association with the Wheeler family began in 1984 as Electrical Engineering Director for Electro-Mechanical Products (EMP), responsible for new product development and the design of automated production and test systems. Dave also served as Advanced Electronics R&D Manager for Electro-Wire Products (EWP) during this period by leading EWP’s electronic product design team. Before joining EMP, Dave was an Electrical Engineer for Ford Motor Company and Volkswagen of America, working with electronic engine control systems design and testing.
