Prior to joining TMW
Enterprises in 2007, Phil was Managing Director & CEO, Magneti
Marelli North America, a division of Magneti Marelli S.p.A. headquartered
in Milan, Italy. He was responsible for overall integration and
coordination of the five operating product sectors of Marelli
in North America and had focused responsibility on the Powertrain,
Lighting, Vehicle Electronics and Motorsport division growth in
this the North American region.

Prior to working for Magneti
Marelli, Phil worked at one of the former holdings of TMW, Pullman Industries.
At Pullman, Phil was Group Vice President responsible for global sales
and marketing. He also coordinated the commercial activities across
the various partnerships in Mexico, Japan, and throughout Europe.
In 2001, he joined a start-up
company, ACSYS Technologies, Inc as Vice President, Sales, Market Development
(including new product development) and Program Management. While at
ACSYS he led a team that was awarded several new business programs from
GM, Nissan, and Toyota. His team also developed several new patented
technologies for commercialization.
In 1992 Phil joined LDM Technologies
as Director, New Business Development and was responsible for advanced
product and market development activities for customers such as General
Motors, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, VW and others. While at LDM, he also was
involved in several of the business acquisitions such as Kenco Plastics,
Huron Plastics Group and Sunningdale Products. In addition to these
assignments at LDM, Phil also was Director, Global Marketing and Strategic
Planning, Product Director – Energy Management Systems and Director
– Powertrain & Precision Products Division with plants in
Michigan and Texas.
Phil joined General Motors
in 1981 and worked in several functional areas including manufacturing
engineering, product engineering, manufacturing and purchasing.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Michigan
State University, an MBA-International Business from Wayne State University
and completed the Advanced Executive Program Series at Massachusetts
Institute of Technology. Phil is a Professor of Marketing & Management
at Walsh College.
